Peter Sell, MSc, Chartered FCIPD
Joint Managing Director
Peter has nearly 25 years' in Human Resources, the last 12
being in HR consultancy. Prior to this, he has worked in the
international service sector, the public sector, financial
services and manufacturing. Peter's particular interests are
on organisation and people development from a strategic perspective.
He is responsible for the day to day management of our Head
Office in Isleworth. As well as delivering the DMS PAC and
NVQ programmes, Peter is also a tutor on the MSc in Strategic
Personnel and Development programme.
Ivor Harland, BA Hons, Post Grad Dip, Per Mgt, Chartered
FCIPD
Joint Managing Director
Ivor is an HR consultant with over 30 years' experience in
Human Resources, having worked for organisations such as Hay-MSL
and PA Consulting in the past. He has extensive experience
of change management issues facing both the private and public
sector. As well as delivering the DMS PAC and NVQ programmes,
Ivor is responsible for supporting our regional areas including
Northern Ireland.
Amanda Patterson
Administration Manager
Amanda joined the DMS team in February 2003. She is no stranger
to the administrative requirements of a learning and development
centre having previously she worked as Faculty Administrator
for a local adult education college. Together Helen and Amanda
provide administrative support to the team of DMS Directors
and Consultants and deal with the general day to day running
of the busy DMS Group head office in Isleworth. Amandas
organisational skills were put to the test as soon as she
started working for DMS; her initial project was to, more
or less single handedly, arrange the first DMS Awards Ceremony
held in June 2003. It was an extremely successful event enjoyed
by all who attended. Amanda works hard to ensure that DMS
delivers an excellent customer service to all our clients
and candidates.

Lynn Carson BA Chartered MCIPD
Managing Director (Northern Ireland)
Lynn plays a pivotal role to DMS Ireland with a range of management
responsibilities including the co-ordination of the Northern
Ireland centre and the development of programmes offered by
DMS. With experience of Human Resources in the retail and
manufacturing sector, Lynn also lectured in Human Resources
and Management at further education colleges in Northern Ireland.
Lynn has also worked directly with the financial sector in
providing a range of HR specialist functions and in delivering
NVQ and Professional Assessment Programmes. Lynn also provides
HR advice to one of Northern Ireland's leading Communications
firms.
Heather Jones, MSc, Chartered FCIPD
Director
Heather has worked in Human Resources since 1980. Her experience
includes retail, the public sector, charities and consultancy.
She is particularly interested in leadership and people development.
As well as delivering the PAC and NVQ programmes, Heather
is programme manager for the DMS Post Graduate Diploma in
Human Resources and is a tutor on the MSc in Strategic Personnel
& Development programme. She is also responsible for the
DMS Chartered Management Institute programmes.
Helen Ivey
Customer Services Manager
Helen has been with DMS since 1997 and is responsible for
the day to day operational aspects of the business. She has
successfully completed the CIPD Certificate in Personnel Practice.
Lyndsey Smyth
Centre Administration and Client Support
Lyndsey plays host at DMS offering people the first point
of contact to the Bangor office. As well as providing clients
and candidates with an excellent customer service support
role, Lyndsey also manages all the administration at DMS Ireland.
